Natalie was born and raised in Newport Beach, California. She began her career at the Rusty Pelican in Newport Beach at just 18 years old in 2016. What started as her very first job quickly became her passion and calling in hospitality. Through hard work, dedication, and a love for creating exceptional guest experiences, Natalie rose through the ranks and was promoted to General Manager in 2020. Today, she continues to lead the team at the Rusty Pelican, bringing warmth, leadership, and a deep connection to her hometown community.
Brandon Yamamoto - Sales Manager
Brandon began his hospitality career in 2005 at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he developed a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. In 2013, he relocated to California to continue growing in the industry. Over the years, Brandon has built a diverse background, including time with Mastro’s, a sister brand known for its elevated dining and service. In 2022, he joined the team at the Rusty Pelican in Newport Beach, where he brings a wealth of experience, a deep commitment to hospitality, and the aloha spirit to every guest interaction.
Jose Munoz - Executive Chef
Chef Jose Munoz brings over 45 years of experience in fresh fish and seafood cuisine to the Rusty Pelican in Newport Beach, where he joined the team in 2019. A respected figure in the local culinary scene, Chef Jose has dedicated most of his career to perfecting the art of coastal-inspired dining in the Newport Beach area. His deep knowledge of seafood, commitment to quality, and passion for showcasing the best of the ocean are reflected in every dish he creates. Chef Jose’s longstanding connection to the community and the sea continues to inspire the flavors and experiences at the Rusty Pelican.
